Are you reading blood test results correctly?

While most clinicians take a course on blood chemistry interpretation either during their formal schooling or through continued education, few receive the education necessary to evaluate blood chemistry panels accurately in clinical practice.

In this comprehensive Blood Chemistry Interpretation certification course, you’ll learn:

  • How to interpret blood labs through a functional medicine lens.

  • How to apply up-to-date, evidence-based reference ranges to complete blood count (CBC) test results — in both US and international units.

  • How to interpret blood test results and read lab markers in terms of the physiological principles at play.

  • How to conduct an accurate differential through blood chemistry interpretation.

  • How to provide strategic supplement recommendations rather than rely on generalized protocols.

What are the benefits of blood chemistry interpretation?

As a functional medicine practitioner, a blood chemistry test is the single most important diagnostic test you can run. No other test provides as much information, accuracy, scientific validation, or reproducibility as a blood chemistry test.

While many clinicians are fond of ordering newer and more expensive functional lab tests to evaluate their patients, a blood chemistry panel should be your first port of call. Ordering a blood chemistry panel first can help you get answers faster, and get more accurate and reliable answers so you can help your patients get healthy faster — and potentially save your patients money in the process.

I already use bloodwork as a diagnostic tool in my practice. Why should I take this course?

As a healthcare professional, you likely know which blood test to run to check for a specific condition, but do you fully understand why

Do you understand the foundational physiological and biochemical principles behind the test results?

Do you know how to read between the lines of a complete blood count (CBC) and see the whole picture, or do you rely on “normal” and “abnormal” reference ranges for your differential?

Without a nuanced understanding of why certain markers are low or elevated, and which body processes or circumstances could lead to those values, your interpretation of the labs could be flawed.

This course will give you a thorough understanding of how the body uses blood and exactly what each blood chemistry marker signifies. With this knowledge, you’ll be able to apply evidence-based logic to conduct an informed differential — and determine for yourself what “normal” or “abnormal” looks like for your individual patients or clients

“MIND BLOWING! I’ve taken many blood chemistry trainings in the past and nothing compares to this! You will be wondering why you were never taught this — it’s because no one has ever pulled together the research like he has.”
– Heidi L. CNS
“Of all the conferences, seminars, and trainings my husband and I have been to, yours by far exceeded our expectations and without question provided the most value.”
Evelyn A.
“Wow! The information and research provided was second to none. This seminar will definitely help me view ‘basic’ bloodwork in a new light as well as help me to help others in a better capacity. I can't recommend this material enough!”
– Dr. Jared S. DC

What you’ll learn in the Blood Chemistry Interpretation course

This course will give you a solid foundational knowledge of the physiology and biochemistry of blood, so that you can apply logic to your interpretation of blood test results.

By the end of the course, you’ll be able to conduct an informed differential using blood chemistry analysis and feel confident in your ability to assess what constitutes a “normal” or “abnormal” marker in light of your patients’ unique circumstances

With this knowledge, you’ll be able to offer your patients or clients an unprecedented level of personalized care.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Interpret a blood chemistry panel from an evidence-based functional medicine perspective using both U.S. and international ranges

  • Simplify your therapeutic protocols

  • Understand and apply the latest research on glucose regulation, mitochondrial dysfunction, detoxification, and more

  • Identify physiological priorities in your patient

  • Have confidence and clarity in your clinical decision-making
